From polished template to the slow part.
The fictional Before looks like money well spent: animated dashboards, a logo marquee, an ROI calculator and pricing tiers. It also looked like every other predictive-maintenance site, and its proof was invented. The redesign starts with what every maintenance lead already knows: machines fail slowly, then all at once.
Same imagined product.
A different reason to believe.
Both pages are live and rendered at full desktop width. Scroll inside each preview, switch views, or open either page on its own.
Previews are scaled from a 1440px desktop layout so you see the full composition. Open either page for full size and mobile behaviour.
See every page of the PlantPulse theme, what the package includes and how licensing will work.
What the original got wrong.
Each of these is quoted from the Before page above. None of them would stop it looking expensive. All of them would cost it trust with the buyer it was written for.
A promise anyone could make.
“Zero unplanned downtime. Powered by AI.”
Every competitor can say it, and no plant engineer believes in zero. The headline sells the category, not this product.
Customers that don’t exist.
A marquee of manufacturer logos, “Trusted by 500+ industrial teams” and a 4.9/5 rating.
Social proof is the first thing a serious buyer checks. Invented logos and testimonials turn a polished page into a liability.
Outcomes with no source.
“Customers reduce unplanned downtime by up to 70% in their first year”, “Average ROI in year one” alongside a 10x counter, and “Downtime prevented this year” beside $1.2M.
The ROI calculator multiplies the same unsourced 70% by the visitor’s own numbers, giving an invented figure the authority of a tool.
The look of every SaaS site.
Dark navy, teal-to-blue gradient text, glowing orbs and a tilted dashboard.
Well executed and interchangeable. Nothing in it comes from the world of maintenance itself.
What human judgment changed.
The difference is not a score improvement we have measured. It is a clearer strategy you can examine, challenge and test.
From perfection to timing.
“Zero unplanned downtime. Powered by AI.” became “Machines fail slowly. Then all at once.” The value is the planning window, so the headline names it instead of promising perfection.
From gradients to drawings.
Engineering-paper grids, a cutaway bearing study and annotation notes borrow the language of the maintenance office instead of the dark SaaS template.
From invented proof to demonstration.
Customer logos, testimonials, ratings and outcome figures are gone. The instrument and inspection plan are labelled as fictional demonstrations.
Not a mockup.
A working homepage.
Every interaction below runs in the After theme today. All content is fictional and written to be replaced with yours.
Simulated live instrument
Turns an emerging fault signature into a reviewable work order.
Interactive P–F curve
Shows the planning window between the first signal and the failure.
Machine-to-action flow
Sensor, edge unit and work request explained as one path.
Industry line art
Custom illustrations for oil and gas, power, manufacturing and utilities.
Start with one machine
A non-submitting inspection plan builder.
More transformations.
Eleven fictional design concepts, distinct sectors, one standard of human judgment.
