From payments template to money with somewhere to be.
The new fictional Before is a capable fintech-style site: a spinning globe with live payment arcs, an FX ticker, code samples and pricing. It was also indistinguishable from a dozen payment companies. The redesign asks why a business moves money at all, and answers with people: suppliers paid, teams paid, plans moving.
Same imagined product.
A different reason to believe.
Both pages are live and rendered at full desktop width. Scroll inside each preview, switch views, or open either page on its own.
Previews are scaled from a 1440px desktop layout so you see the full composition. Open either page for full size and mobile behaviour.
See every page of the PayPulse theme, what the package includes and how licensing will work.
What the original got wrong.
Each of these is quoted from the Before page above. None of them would stop it looking expensive. All of them would cost it trust with the buyer it was written for.
A headline from the category.
“Global payments, without borders.”
Every payments company says this. It describes the industry, not a reason to choose PayPulse.
Scale that cannot be checked.
“Trusted by 10,000+ fast-growing companies”, “$12B+ processed annually” and a marquee of customer logos.
For a company holding other people’s money, invented scale is the claim most likely to be checked and the most damaging when it fails.
Regulation as decoration.
“SOC 2 Type II”, “PCI DSS Level 1”, “ISO 27001”, “Licensed & regulated in 30+ jurisdictions”.
Certifications are verifiable facts. Listing them for a fictional company is the most serious claim on the page.
Polish without a point of view.
Violet-to-cyan gradients, a dotted globe, bento cards and five-star testimonials.
Expertly assembled from the current fintech playbook, so it is remembered as another payments site.
What human judgment changed.
The difference is not a score improvement we have measured. It is a clearer strategy you can examine, challenge and test.
From the category to a purpose.
“Global payments, without borders.” became “Your money has places to be.” The headline says why money matters before how it moves.
From a globe to a world.
Sculptural ribbons through illustrated cities, warm paper tones and handwritten notes give global payments a human scale instead of the standard fintech gradient.
From scale claims to decisions.
Customer counts, volumes, logos and certifications are gone. Routes are explorable, figures are labelled illustrative, and a person approves every move.
Not a mockup.
A working homepage.
Every interaction below runs in the After theme today. All content is fictional and written to be replaced with yours.
The Route Room
An interactive workspace for comparing payment routes and seeing each handoff.
Idle capital calculator
Editable assumptions, with the maths shown rather than claimed.
People stories
Who waits at the other end of a payment, told in editorial portraits.
Treasury tools
Route clarity, currency visibility, human approval and developer notes.
Fiction banner
A visible line keeps the demonstration honest.
More transformations.
Eleven fictional design concepts, distinct sectors, one standard of human judgment.
