From audit acronyms to a number you can trace.
The draft spoke fluent compliance: ESRS, ISAE 3410, PCAF, SHA-256. The redesign makes the idea underneath visible. Pick any figure in a sustainability report and follow it down to the paper it stands on.
Same imagined product.
A different reason to believe.
Both pages are live and rendered at full desktop width. Scroll inside each preview, switch views, or open either page on its own.
Previews are scaled from a 1440px desktop layout so you see the full composition. Open either page for full size and mobile behaviour.
See every page of the EcoSphere theme, what the package includes and how licensing will work.
What the first draft got wrong.
Each of these is quoted from the Before page above. None of them would stop the draft looking finished. All of them would cost it trust with the buyer it was written for.
Standards instead of explanation.
“ESRS E1 / CSRD Assurance Ready”, “ISAE 3410”, “GLEC Framework v3.0”, “PCAF Score 1.0” before the first sentence.
The reader has to know the vocabulary before they can discover the value.
Real firms used as props.
Copy built around the Big Four sampling a fictional product’s ledger.
Implying a working relationship with named auditors is a claim the company cannot back.
Precision without provenance.
“Total Reconciliation Uncertainty: ±1.8%”, “77.72 tCO₂e”.
A product about traceable numbers opens with numbers you cannot trace.
Fear as the opening line.
“Your auditor doesn’t accept spend-based carbon estimates anymore.”
It is not quite true. Labelled estimates remain legitimate, which the After says plainly.
What human judgment changed.
The difference is not a score improvement we have measured. It is a clearer strategy you can examine, challenge and test.
From compliance to clarity.
The audit warning became “Every number can be traced.” The promise is understanding, which is what assurance ultimately needs.
From ledger to geology.
Rock strata, field notes and specimen labels turn data lineage into a physical descent from surface to bedrock.
From certainty to labelled honesty.
Measured and estimated figures are marked everywhere, and a section lists what EcoSphere will not do, including promise an assurance opinion.
Not a mockup.
A working homepage.
Every interaction below runs in the After theme today. All content is fictional and written to be replaced with yours.
Six-layer drill-down
From a reported figure to the original shipment document.
Measured or estimated
A category breakdown that labels both.
One trail, three readers
Sustainability, finance and audit perspectives on the same record.
What we won’t do
Principles that rule out overclaiming.
Hardest-number sketch
An exercise that maps how deep a figure’s evidence goes today.
More transformations.
Eleven fictional design concepts, distinct sectors, one standard of human judgment.
